Many clues should have made this case simpler. Patsy was diagnosed by a doctor as a pertinent mental (Intermittent Explosive Disorder) disorder, I.E.D.which means fierce displays of dangerous anger. (Joan Crawford also had it).JonBenet had annoyed Mom with frequent bed and pants messing and wetting; whidh is often a call for help and says "leave me alone" in cases of molesting. Mom was not that angry until she found the note written by JonBenet to her Dad promising him the Xmas present. Now Patsy went crazy.P. had cancer, and took it like she saw the child as a rival. There were terribl almost killing blows to the head, a stun gun too, was used,Wood slivers, wood from P's paint brush was found in child, the brush was used in the murder (strangling? I don't remember) JB remained conscious and alive and the murder was extremely painful; and for a time she would not die.The note I figured was written by Patsy with several clues.. The murder was committed Christmas Eve,or Christmas, with lots of snow all around yard and house and no footprints of burglaring raping intruders, no footprints at all. Violence caused by IED can be terribly out of poroportion to the situation that caused th attack. Patsy also was of the belief that anger was not to be revealed. She was a public figure and covered her feelings with a smile. The jealousy Patsy saw was way beyond anything controllable; I don't think she planned to kill Jon Benet. Jon Benet erred in guilelessly writing that completely plain note; she didn't realize what she was getting into. Patsy and Jon Benet now in atmospherea have a lot of therapy ahead of them. There are hospitals, doctors, nurses, light therapy and much there not available here. John R. is an extremely powerful and respected man in his own areas. Perhaps because of parts of the case the police, the reporters, even the film makers and some of the writers observed a lot of mysterious reluctance in their summations of the case. Perhaps becaue they would hated so badly to be in his shoes.

I am shocked he was "released"....yeah, perhaps he didn't kill JonBenet, and I really never thought he did, but he is one sick, sick individual. I hope the authorities are going to keep a very close eye on him. He is going to do something - I think he is deeply disturbed.

This case interested me 10 years ago and it still interests me now. The man that turned himself in, John Mark Karr, isn't guilty though. Something is rather bizarre with this entire case. I feel he knows more than he's letting on.

I think in a way he really would not be found guilty because the thing stated such as druging her and other things, did not seem to fit because at the autopsy they found no drugs in her blood streem. His confession just didn't seem reasonable enough to throw him on jail.

If this guy did do it its sad her mom was not alive to see him brought to justice. I also find it fish how this man was able to be with her on that xmas eve with out no one in her family ever saying his name as possible suspect?? something just isnot right with this case since day one.

He didn't seem convincing to me from the onset. I was just hoping the DA's office had information that was more convincing that what the public was seeing. I'm sorry for her family that it was a hoax. I hope they sock it to him good!
