Nothing cool in my back yard. No swingset or pool. It's a big open space. And my kids aren't old enough to play. The kids almost always leave a bat, glove, or ball in my yard too. Not that it's a big deal, but it's pretty annoying. Their yards are just as nice as mine.

You are very lucky if you have children that they want to play in your yard and that they have friends to share it with, time will come when they want to play elsewhere, and you won't always know where and if they are safe. consider it a compliment that your back yard is so inviting, but also make rules ,and stick to them.children like to have guidelines, it makes life so much easier for them, enjoy them while you can , they will grow up and move away to work and then you will wish they were still there messing up the yard. I know you thind "why me" but if the neighbourhood kids think your COOL, then you are blessed

If you have children, or a pool or a playground set, that may be attracting them. If they are being a nuisance, you need to set some ground rules. Maybe set up a flag system and tell them "when the flag is out, you can come over, but when it is down, we don't want company."
That way you can have some quiet time without all the neighborhood kids.

Yours must be a good place to play at. Be friendly and tolerant. I suggest that you make them develop proprietary sense over your backyard such that they will do everything to keep it clean and orderly, no vandalism, no undue damages in return for your allowing them to keep use of the area as their playground. Oh, a few snacks every now and then will do no harm to everyone in developing friendship as well. And then maybe you can inveigle them later to help you do a few cultivations in the perimeter fence and let them watch the plants grow as they assist in tending to them.

I estimate you are between 18 and 28 years old. So it's not too far back to remember when you were a kid.....?

You must have a nice backyard. There's something about it that appeals to them I guess.
