I'm really speechless over this castrophe. Please help me find a reason for this garbage!

Seriously, this guy is selfish waste of human existence! He's going after a PERSONAL record by dragging his TEAM into the dirt! What really distresses me, is that his incompetence and "me, me, me" behavior has prevented GB from even attempting to nurture and create a sucessful back up QB for when Brett finally gets is overdue career ending injury. He makes me embaressed (but definitely not the only reason, though) to live in Wisconsin!

I just don't think they've found a suitable replacement yet. At least, THEY don't think they've found one...
If you remember, Brett's first year, he was one of the most horrible QB's in the league. The Packers weren't exactly the pick of the litter that year. What they need is to let him go, and start a new QB in his place, to give them the experience to be a great quarterback.
I think the board of directors is pushing Favre on the coaching staff, and the coaches have no say in things.
He's not taking the Packers to the Superbowl this year, but he's probably got another so-so year left in him.

I am a Bears fan, but you gotta love Favre nonetheless.
I agree, I am sick and tired the past few years with Favres Celine Dion act. Well, I may retire, well, maybe not. I have to think about it. Well, yeah, I'll play. Well, maybe not, eh, well ok!
Please, I know he is (was) great, but the Packers are not good, and they should be developing their young quarterback, don't know his name, who cares, Favre is stunting his development anyway.
I think it would have been better for Favre and the Packers to have parted ways this season. He should be slinging passes for another team this year. But I guess he owns Green Bay and can do whatever he wants. What would the great Vince Lombardi do about this if he was Brett's coach?

what is the question? did something happen I haven't heard about?
If you just mean why did he return - that's easy, he doesn't know when enough is enough.
But don't count him out from a fantasy perspective.
(1) there's no reason to believe GB will be able to run the ball at all
(2) they'll be plenty of late 3rd quarter and 4th quarter prevent defenses for Favre to pick apart as the Pack surge toward a 4-12 record
(3) if your league deosn't count turnovers against QB's - he might be a top 8 QB.

LOL, isn't his name spelled brett favre? thats funny!!! From what i've heard he's a great quarterback, I don't know for sure cuz I don't like him myself & I'm not a Packers fan. Honestly I thought he would retire after last season, but I guess he wants to keep playing. There must be a reason as to why green bay is keeping him around, dont u think?

If Favre was that bad, the Packers would not play him. If his back up was ready, he would have been encouraged to retire. The man still has a gun, at least in the top third of all quarterbacks.
As for your dislike of Wisconsin, I am sure the rest of the residents are absolutely thrilled to have you living there also.
If you are going to slam a man, at least spell his name correctly.
It is FAVRE.

I think the class act QB's go out before they wreck their teams; retire at the top, or just over the top, of their game. Does Farve want to beat Montana in Super Bowl wins?

Dude you are a waste. He's one of the best QBs who ever lived. And what are you talking about personal record. Has he ever done that in his career?? NO. You need to get smacked across the head and realize that this is PRESEASON!!!!!! It doesn't mean anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am embarrassed that you live in Wisconsin and aren't a Packers fan.

The Packers will be horrible this year. The lack of pass blocking will force Favre into numerous interceptions and sacks. I think he's seriously questioning his decision to play another year.
