Actually, if everybody would take a look, it's based on both.. depending on how late or early in the year you were born, it may be different..

it goes by what year you were born, i was also born in october but on the 29th which makes me a scorpio but i was born in 1982 so i am in the year of the dog! u are a libra, thats all i can tell u..
