How do i put the songs in my itunes library to my ipod? more questions below!!?

I want to transfer my limewire library to my itunes library but i want to then put it to my ipod is there a way to like fill out albums and information for songs in itunes when the songs are in my library? and how do i modify songs?Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

open songs with itunes then drag to iPod.
