What is the definition of a friend? I really just want everybody's opinion, please.

Someone you trust who trusts you. Someone you like to hang out with. You don't even have to have a lot in common. Someone that sticks by and supports you even when you are wrong, but doesn't have a problem telling you when you are wrong.

Ladies I'm surprised you didn't answer truthfully on this one with a little something like......
Some guy that you will use, knowing that he cares about you, calling him late at night and dumping your problems on him, keeping him around as your emotional crutch avoiding commitment because you know that might jeopardise the
ahem, "friendship" aka your ability to manipulate his feelings to make yourselves feel better because you know he'll always be there for you giving you the support you really need, thereby avoiding the real issues you have with commitment to a mature healthy relationship. I got rid of THAT friend and she can go to h*ll.
A real friend will always be there for you however, if they really care about you they'll tell you when you're f*cking up too, only a real friend has that kind of nerve.

Friend is someone is who is all ways there no matter what. A person who will stop whatever there doing that is hurting the friendship or even trying. Who you can tell them anything and they wouldnt tell anybody. A friend is the one that is closer to you like family. Who wont go behind your back. Who you can trust will all your heart.

A friend is someone who is there for you through every thing.... they are there for you regardless what the need is... wether it be to hold your hair while you throwing up after a long night of partying or to sit and listen to you cry over man problems. No problem is too big or small if they are a real friend

A friend is someone who will love you regardless of what do you, who you date, or how stupid you may act. A friend will be there to pick you when you fall, gives you a shoulder to cry on, tells you the honest truth, and loves you for you.

A friend is someone who is there for you all the time..they got your back..they don't judge you..they tell you truth--even though you may not like it..they keep your secrets..they don't talk behind your back..they are willing to lend a hand when needed...i could go on...but i think this is enough.....

someone who knows all about you but likes you anyway. A fake friend will bail you out of jail, but a true friend will be in the cell sitting next to you saying damn that was fun.
