Yes I did .What they do they ask you a few questions .Then they take this test where they scratch you in a few places then they place samples of things most common that people are allergic to on your arm .( there in little vials before placing the liquid samples on you ) then they ask you to waite a few minutes when they come back basically they look to see which ones gaved you a mild irritation and that how they know . For example cat dandruff turned the entire area red with what looked like a hive

Here's a thought, although you should keep your appointment.

My husband suffered from severe allergies for years. He went to several doctors, including an allergist. The normal treatments where worthless but expensive. His particular symptoms indicated food allergies.

Much later, he read that allergies can be caused by toxins trapped in the digestive system, or more accurately, the colon. (You can find info by doing a search online)

After much research he tried an herbal colon cleansing process. (Laxatives are very harsh, and do not eliminate toxins that cling to the colon walls. They should be avoided) It took a few weeks, but the results are remarkable.

He has absolutely no allergy symptoms, and he feels lighter and active. In addition, he is losing extra weight without trying. His skin color is brighter, fuller and he feels and appears much healthier.

Like I said... It's just a thought.

It's not that bad. I went and had a full blown test where they took what looks like triangular shaped prongs, they poke your back or your arms and they drop serem into the poke marks. If the marks blister up then you are allergic. They will send you home with antihistimenes to keep you from having a severe reaction.

if they do the skin prick method you will get the results the same day....

they do this on your back...they make a little prick with a needle and then put a solution on it like peanut allergen or orange allergen (or trees and stuff like that if you have environmental allergies)

it doesn't hurt very much...

it will itch like crazy!

if they draw blood and test for allergies that way...your results will take a few days....

Oh Yeah, I took my poor son to one once. Be very specific about what you wish to be tested for, which allergens. Go if you have to, but they stick you with 20 little pricks all at once and make you wait to see if you have a skin reaction!! Good luck!!!!!
