Everyone has subjects that come rather easily - and subjects that just baffle the heck out of them.
Most people when they study for a test tend to spend most of their time on the subjects that come easiest to them. They know they'll do well in those subjects.

The proper thing to do is leave the subjects you know well to the side and study hard on the ones (in your case, math) that you aren't too sure of.

Take and do a lot of SAT sample questions and familiarize yourself with the type of math problems you'll be presented with - the more you do, the more confident you will be when you get to the math section on the real test.

Good scores across the board are more impressive than an excellent score in just one area.

Good luck with the test.

Everyone has weak and strong subjects. Keep practicing and preparing for the math section and take it over if you need to. You have to get good results in several areas to get a good SAT score. You may not get into Harvard, but you will get into a good school somewhere. Save some money and spend a couple of years in a community college before going on to a univeristy.

Hmmm, the math in the SAT is like 6th grade math!!! Come on, you can do better on it! I think you really need to work on it a bit more and then retake it if you are not satisfied with your results...
