Definitely Kind Of Blue. This is a jazz superband - Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Cannonball Adderley, Bill Evans. Virtually every song is a classic (or standard)

Of course, like anyone else would saty, my favorite is Kind Of Blue. It's the album that got me into Miles. But right behind it, is Bitches' Brew and Tribute To Jack Johnson. I have the boxsets for both albums and I love the fusion.

Kind of Blue -- the later rock fushion was fine too, but I much prefer earlier music. The work with Bill Evans on piano in Kind of Blue makes it my first choice.
Also have a soft spot for Sketches of Spain.

I really liked "Tutu" because it took him into the realm of jazz/rock/techno. A true departure from his norm, (if you could refer to Miles as normal).
