Personally, I think it was that one episode where they go to Brazil.
After that I stopped watching it.

It hasn't really jumped the shark, since that seems to be a term that describes a show doing an outrageous stunt in a desperate attempt for ratings. The Simpsons never really had a problem with ratings.
However, I think the Simpsons creators are running out of ideas. And running out of countries to visit.

OH YEAH. I think that the Simpsons jumped the shark a long time ago. Personally, I think the whole adult cartoon series genre has jumped the shark, but that is just me. I watched the Family Guy for the first time in a couple of weeks and it was just pathetic.

Matt Groening was once asked how long the show he created would run.
He said about 2,000 seasons.
And internet geeks would all be complaining about how the first thousands seasons were so much better than the last thousand.
