ok me and my best friend are very close to each other but i think i wanna be more than friends fyi we are both girls and in 7th grade sometimes i feel that i wanna be more tha bffs sometimes i think she does too.she is very touchy towards me like she touches my hands and stuff.she also often hugs me or will lay very close to me when were at one anothers house sometimes i feel like i should tell her how i feel.do u think im bi?should i tell her how i feel?if so how?please help!

If you haven't heard her express feelings of having a preference towards girls instead of boys I wouldn't just jump to the conclusion that she is romantically interested in you. Girls your age are often very loving and touchy with each other. Look around your school, there are always girls holding hands, hugging etc. That's just the way girls are...I'd wait and make sure before I said anything, otherwise you could loose her friendship. My guess is if she isn't feeling the same as you are, she will probably feel uncomfortable with this situation. You too are very young to be sure about your sexual preference. The two of you should just now be showing a little attraction to others whether they are the opposite sex or not.Give it time, you're too young to even date yet.

These feelings are common in your age group. I don't think you have enough life experience to know whether you are lesbian or heterosexual. If you decide to experiment. remember that these memories last a lifetime and may not be what you are prepared for. When I was younger, my friends and I were always close, we would hug, lay next to each other...it's just how some girls are. But you are in the 7th grade...that makes you what 12?!?!?! Spend your time on being young, not on having a relationship!!!!

My best friend when I was in high school would hit on me and act like that..always touching me and if I wasnt at her house she was at mine. One night she decided to kiss me and kinda freaked me out. Not because she kissed me but because there was no warning.

I knew I liked girls at a somewhat young age, and she brought that realization to life so quickly it stunned me and I didn't know how to react. If you want to find out if she like you here are some tips.

~ Try talking to her. Ask her questions such as "Have you ever thought about what it would be like with a girl?" or "would you ever kiss a girl?" The best way to do this is to play Truth or Dare.

~ When hanging out touch her arm, sort of stroke it with your finger tips. Sit close to her, and kinda try a mild flirting.

Really think about if this is what you want. If you like guys or girls..Just guys or just girls. Either is fine, there is no shame in it and it is not wrong to feel like this, it is perfectly normal.

Go do some homework, you have plenty of time for those things. Take your time and figure out what you really want. When you are sure, than go for it. Plus, is it worth risking your friendship? Once intimacy happens it ruins the friendship. Good luck.
