2,000 empty aluminum pop and beer cans will get you $20.00 at any recycling center. If you live in a state that requires a deposit, you'll only need 400 empties for 20 bucks.

In the state of Michigan, there is a 10 cent per can deposit, refundable when you turn cans in.

sounds too good to be true...aluminum is under $30/pound in WI(that's less than $0.01/can)
