I want to know about my Celeron laptop. It is a Toshiba Satellite m35x s109. When I try to see on MyComputer->Properties, all I see is:
Intel[R] Celeron[R] M Processor, 1400MHz, 1.4GHz, 736MB of RAM.

Nothing specified about processor.

Well, you can go to Start-> Settings -> control panel -> system.

check out what processor type you have and you can refer to Intel or AMD website on the model to check if that is a 32 or 64 bit processor.

OR u can also try on this link for Intel processors. (not applicable for AMD)

Assuming you are speaking of a PC, unless it is an Itanium or Athlon64 processor, it's 32 bit. In all likelihood you'd know if it was one of these two, they are not mainstream. If you want to be doubly sure, go to Start, click on Control Panel, click on System, and click on the General tab (this is Windows XP, not sure how much it differs for earlier versions). You should see something at the bottom that says "Intel(R) Pentium(R) processor" or similar. That would say Itanium or Athlon64 if it was 64-bit.

If you have an Apple, it's 32-bit. If you have a Unix box you're on your own. :-)

The first answer won't tell you what kind of processor you have, only what kind of Windows you have. I am not certain but AMD's 64-bit processor probably runs 32-bit Windows.

Easiest way is to:

1) Right click on the desktop
2) Click on Properties
3) Click on the Settings tab. If Color Quality only goes up to 32 bit, then you do not have a 64 bit processor. If you have 64 bit available, then you processor is capable of performing 64 bit computing.

Hope that helps.

First find out what your processor is by right clicking on your "my computer" icon on your desktop. Choose properties. On the general tab under Computer, it tells you your Brand of cpu, Intel or AMD, the model and the speed. Use that information and go to www.google.com and search for your processor type. Someone who sells it can tell you the specifications. 2) look on the bottom of your laptop find the model number and Brand. Go to the web site of the manufacturer ie www.dell.com and look up the model you have and choose specifications.
