but, we donthave any theme ideas for the party we are a christain bunch, so somthing, like that would be wonderful, any ideas?

I am a christian also. I have a idea that might work for you. Why don't you take them back in time . What if you were to have all thier friends go over to the Church and you would do a WW2 style USO club with everyone dressing in that type of outfit , play big band music maybe have sthree of you get together and do boogie woogie bugle boy dressed as the Lenon sisters . It could be a lot of fun The same thing would work for a 50's theme where you would make it look like a malt shop ( preferably one they would remember_) have lots copies of thier photos and encourage everyone to bring photos. and play 50's music and get together and do a doowop song ( hopefully thier song)

Have the theme be friends & family. At that age their noting looking to dress up as their favorite movie character or what not. Have a party that reminds them of their life and so that they have the opportunity to share their lives with you.
But if al else fails a couple of strippers dressed like cops might not hurt either. =)

Um, why a big party for the 69th b-day? Y'know, if you're relgious folks and all. Why not wait for 70? That makes more sense. Unless you're just a big perv and you want the pastor to find out.
