There is an Indian sybol that George Harrison used often. It is found in many of his records and on his lapel durring the concert for bangladesh. it sort of looks like a backwards 'E' with a sideways 'S' next to it. does anyone know what this means?

It's the sanskrit symbol for the word "OM."

Om (pronounced ohh-mmm) is a word used in meditation. People who follow the Hindu religion say that the word OM is the seed sound for all things in the universe, that all things sprang from that word. It is also said that if you meditate and chant OM that it will bring you peace. George Harrison was a very spiritual person, this is why he put the OM symbol on his records and wore it on his clothing as a pin.

I'd like a tattoo of the symbol-where do I get a pattern?
