All has worked well so far (only had computer couple of months). McAfee always no prob but now seems to have run into trouble - do I need to subscribe? it came free when I got comp. Dont seem to be able to get through on customer service? Any help?

You do need to subscribe once a year after the trial period ends.

Yes you will have to subscribe just go online if you wish to take up the option to purchase. However if you decide to decline and buy another product be aware that Mcfee files are the devils own to take off any computer. You think that you have unnstalled it but in fact it is still lurking there waiting to pounce. I'm not kidding I had the devils own job when I finished with Mcfee and subscribed to spy dcotor.. good package.

McAfee not a free program, so I think you can use it for one month, after this period you need to subscribe or register.
So at this time install Norton antivirus for one month trial version :)

Uninstall it! You dont need to pay for antivirus Just get AVG free edition i think its pretty good+its free from www.download.com

That anti virus is the worsed one to have try nortons my sister and friends have had that one and tey all had trouble with it

so long as it is working cool...when the protection is about to expire they will prompt you...just action the updates when they prompt you...
