It is a scam. How do you suppose someone would put a sweepsatke out, confidentially, wihtout you even having to buy a ticket?
Just for kicks, do as I do. Create yourself a new hotmail address and reply from THERE claiming you got the email there, change the names and everything. And guess what? They will confirm that you are the winner. With the new name! What are the odds?
Then you can email back and forth with them, when they say someone will be claiming your ticket on your behalf, insist to go there in person because you can as your cousin works for an airline, or something like that. Keep them busy. While they are, they are not trying to defraud someone else.
Just be careful NEVER to give your real name, address of phone number. Some of those crooks would not hesitate to kill to get money.

If you didn't enter it in the first place, and you received a notice by email, you're being scammed. Delete it.
