I just found almost 100, windows security, hotfix updates.Do I need them all,If not,Then how do I get rid?

You need a better operating system. Windows is a hopeless security quagmire. Sounds like you just discovered the infamous Windows Updates requirement of the Bill Gates OS.

If you want a chance (though slim) of keeping others from controlling YOUR computer every time you are on the Internet, you need these 100 plus every one to come, ad obnoxious-ium (as in ad infinitum). On top of that, you need to pay the SECURITY TAX of virus checkers, firewall program, malware monitor, and updates to all, also ad obnoxium. There I invented a new word - just for Microsoft.

My recommendation (and I have worked with computers since 1963, including every Microsoft operating system) is to trash Windows (in phases) and install Linux.

You dont need them if you dont mind hackers being able to exploit their way into your system. If that isn't an issue with you, then no. If it is an issue, and you want your information, cc#, ssn, bank info private and keep your system free of trojans and viruses and turned into proxies then yes, you need all of them.
