I have two holes in each ear and for the first set I have no idea where I went because I was a baby and my mom doesn't remember, LOL. The second set has been an absolute nightmare because I have had them done twice and each time, they close right up. I went to Claire's the first time and that was a major mistake because my ears got infected (dumb girl didn't know what she was doing, grrrr!) and then I went to Wal-Mart and that didn't last either. I'm thinking of going to a piercing shop, figuring that with all the body modification they do with piercing, getting my ears done should be a snap, LOL!

for ANY piercing go to a PROFESSIONAL-this means not claires, walmart, etc. These girls have been trained for about 4 hours to use a gun which literally staples a cheap, entirely to small bit of metal into your ear. The gun cannot be in any way acceptably sterilized or cleaned as it cant be autoclaved. If you go to my yahoo group listed below I have posted an article about why piercing guns are so bad compared to a needle-please have a read.

Any beauty salon would likely be fine & if you're a little nervous they may also pierce both ears at the same time. I had mine done at a beauty salon.
Good Luck!

I went to claire's in the mall and they also do it at this store called the icing....and also piercing pagoda...i think they have those stores in every mall....if that fails you can call the local tattoo parlor or piercer they also pierce ears and it shouldn't cost that much....oh yeah wal-mart, jc penney's also does it, sears....and strangely enough...even som doctor's offices do ear piercings.

I went to a tattoo and piercing shop. But you should always make sure that they use clean equipment and whatnot. The piercing gun that they use at places like Claires are alright, but restricts your choice in jewelery.
