Retirement can lead to deep and interesting conversations. It's scary to think that I didn't start planning for this event in my life until it was way too late.

The future. I have made it to my current age and experienced a few bumps in the road. I worry about my son, his wife and my granddaughter. What does the future hold for them? Will there be new wars to fight? ........new illegal drugs?..... will they run out of oil during their lifetime? The world and this country do not have the stability we experienced. I worry about that. Fortunately, or unfortunately - I won't be around to see what will happen.

Getting old. Not just looking old but feeling old. Not being able to take care of myself anymore. That's really scary.

for a few weeks now i,ve read and thought about serial killers.their motivation,ect and why are they that sick,and what made them sickos,is it enviromental or heredity or both? in my case this thinking on this subject will soon pass and i,ll very likely become intrested in something entirely different and unrelated. it may be studying songbirds, glacieres in alaska, or training dogs. who knows?i don,t, but my intrest are very varied and take a lotof different directions..scared well, world situations intefer with my sleep at night.
