I only have one number plate on the back of my car, is this Illegal?

It depends on the state you live in. Some states only require one. In Texas you can be stopped and given a citation for only having one plate.

It depends on what state you're in. The state I live in, you need 2 plates, check it out with the DMV's in your state. ~

Call the Depart of Revenue (DOR) for your state and ask. They may have a website where you can email questions in. I would try that first before stopping by to see if you can have it done.

In australia - yes. Law says you need to have one front and back.

I want to put muf-dvr on my plates,but my wife won't let me. I don't understand. Cheech and chong had it on their plates.

gray area in ca. you see a lot without a front one but I've never heard of any one getting a ticket for it, I still don't have one
