I always apply mascara on the top, and then I put just a little on the bottom so that they stand out the same amount, and so that it looks like the color is even. It looks kinda funny if you have really bold upper eyelashes, and then you can hardly see the bottom ones. I hope this helps!

It can be used on both top and bottom. Personally, I think it looks a little strange when it's only use on the top, but it's all about preference.

I first put mascara on the bottom lases then two coats on the top lases.

i usually do both. but i only put extremely little on the bottom lashes. since the bottom lashes are smaller, you don't want to put too much. one coat is more than enough for the bottom. you can do two or three on top.
but sometimes i feel like doing the eyeliner and mascara on top lashes look...

Use it for whatever effect you like, mascara on the top and bottom lashes looks dramatic, if u like that go for it, if u like a simple look do the top lashes only.

I only put on the top lashes because I've noticed that I get raccoon eyes when I put on the bottom ones... But I make sure to cover my top lashes very well...

alot of people wear on both top and bottom but what ever brings out your eyes, I don't wear it on the bottom because my bottom lashes are long enough, also if it smudges at all, your screwed(especially with water proof mascara while it is still wet) because you may get the wrong look!(goth)

Honestly - use it on top. For a more dramatic look - take some eyeliner/shadow and smudge a little on the lashline OR just take dark eyeliner and rim your eyes. If you use mascara below - it eventually will make your eyes look tired, and like you have dark circles. Have fun!
