You may be right, time will tell. Penn State had a marvelous season last year and of course goes to Columbus on Sep 23 to play the Buckeyes. I tend to think Ohio State is for real and will be in the championship picture nationally all year long. They have a very difficult first 5 games playing at Texas, hosting Penn State and playing at Iowa. My feeling is if they are undefeated after these 5 games, who have to hand it to them. If OSU is 5-0 my thinking is they could go 12-0. Penn State could put a huge hole in this storyline if the Nittany Lions win in Columbus. I'm an SEC fan but appreciate the outstanding football played by OSU and Penn State. If Penn State is 4-0 with wins at Notre Dame and at Ohio State, we could easily see Penn State sitting in the no.1 spot and an outstanding chance to be undefeated at the end of the year.

You're optimistic! And remember, Penn State has to come to The SHOE this year! But I guess we'll all know if the Buckeyes are overrated or not on September 9th, 8:00 PM on ABC when they take on the National Champion Texas Longhorns in Texas. Should be a great game!

O yeah they're overrated allright. How could a team get so much hype when they just lost 9 diffensive startes from last year.
And onother think about Tedd Gin Jr., that kid didn't really have that great of a year last year and everybody thinks he is a heisman runner. I mean sure all give them Troy Smith and Antonio Pittman but I don't think 2 guys are going to beat Texas,Michigan, and Iowa.

Ohio state is not overrated. They are pre-season #1 because
no one really stands out this year.Their returning offense might be the best OSU has had in a long long time. The defense lost a lot but OSU always fills it needs at defense better than any school.

They got two possible Hiesman winners on the team as long as Quinn doesnt have a melt down or gets hurt......So overrated? No I think they got a shot at the national championship...

Ohio State is always overrated.

Maurice Clarette shows what kind of athletes they usually have in that joint.

Good offense but questions on defense. Texas will answer those questions on September 9th and their good offense will melt in our heat. They don't make it out of Austin ranked #1.

Hook'em !!!!!!!!!!!!
