Catherine Harris says if we don't elect Christians then we'll be legislating sin. Didn't she get the GOP memo that they're not supposed to talk about the game plan openly?

I don't like her. SHe is speaking out of opinion....lihe she said that the fore fathers intended on the government being run by religion and that they didn't intend on church/state separation. Well, she must be over 200 years old....she acts like she was there and actually knows first hand what they meant. She ought to keep her mouth shut about things that she doesn't know about. If it weren't for her, we wouldn;t have that embarrassment in the White House right now.

It's just the old GOP tactic of pandering the fundies. True Christians will see her for what she really is.

The Founding Fathers did indeed intend a nation of secular laws, as many of the colonists had fled from the persecutions of the church-dominated state in England and elsewhere in Europe. It has nothing to do with infringing on an individual's right to worship or practice one's faith. As a potential senator, she is obligated by oath to serve all of her constiuents, no matter what their religious beliefs. Tailoring legislation slanted toward her own personal faith would not be fulfilling that obligation. Anyone who doesn't align with her alleged vision of faith should be outraged and working to keep her out, assuming she has any chance at all. Even people who are of the Christian following should be intelligent enough to see that she is just attempting to manipulate. Phony bible thumping, false morality, and plastic smile.
