Talent is a good start. Or rich parents like Paris Hilton or Ritchie (whater her name was). But talent I would say is number one and confidence is a great asset also. If you can be seen by the right people and referred for a shot at recording it is great also. Besides that perhaps cut a record/tape/cd and go to the record producers and try and flog yourself. Good luck in attaining your goal.
