If you want a Generic Answer just based off of Sun Signs not taking into account Ascendants, Moon Signs, or where your Mars and Venus are, it would be LIBRA and AQUARIUS.

Gemini is the Sign of Communication. It's Quadruplicity is Mutable. Its Triplicity is Air.

The reason why it's most compatible with Libra and Aquarius is because Libra is Cardinal Air and Aquarius is Fixed Air.

For other Signs, you can use the same formula in determining who is or isn't compatible generally on a 12-Slice Zodiac Pie Chart.

90 Degrees = Bad
Trine (4 clockwise or 4 counterclockwise) = Best
Sextile (2 clockwise or 2 counterclockwise) = Good

No matter where you are on the Zodiac, that formula works for all of them. Some Astrologers have their own interpretations, but I happen to like this one because it uses a Mathematical Formula.

In your case, Worst would be Sagittarius (Mutable Fire). Bad would be Virgo (Mutable Earth) and Pisces (Mutable Water).

I'd get annoyed if someone asked me for their Sign and then said, "Oh, I'm not compatible with you because your Moon Sign is Aquarius and people with that type of Moon are allergic to Broccoli and hate Purple Sweaters. So therefore we're not compatible."

Leo, hands down. Air and Fire are elements that compliment eachother. With a Leo, your connection will be almost INSTANT.
