If you committed a murder,would you go on the run or just give yourself in to the police?

If you even had the money to escape maybe to another country and hide,like Mexico where they could'nt find you,or would you be too guilty and give yourself up?

Interesting sociological question really. I have studied criminology during spare time during University and have had to answer this question before.

Now a days crime and even murder is glorified in the media and especially TV so even though there may be people horrified by you asking this question I will go out on a limb and gaurantee that most have thought about it... I mean, it is a hypothetical question.

As for myself, I would go on the run without a doubt. The thrill of the chase would be just as exciting as the actual act itself. If someone was about to go ahead with meditated murder then chances are they are willing to go the extra mile to not get caught. I would try to start a life in some other Country or just make sure that the 'murder' was clean enough that I would not be caught.

For the record this is a hypothetical question and my answer is not intended to offend anyone.....

I would turn myself in. I am the type that couldn't live with the guilt. Though I do like the George Strait song "Seashores of Old Mexico". lol

I woldn't even do it in the first place. Besides I live in Texas where they execute their criminals in a timely manner unlike California where it takes nearly 25 yrs to put someone to sleep there(ie: Stanley Williams)
