Seems like those kind of men feel more attached to a child that they are not legaly obligated to take care of .....i know a few guys like that.

Honestly? Because men do not know what they want. They don't care for their kid because it represents responsibility and the person they had those kids with. Don't fool yourself into thinking that he cares about the other kids. The way to the cow is through the calf. So they will be nice to the kids so the mom will think "Wow what a great guy, he treats my kids good" ya, dream on toots, That will come to a screeching halt when she gets knocked up,then it will be on to the next.
And before I get the hate mail, no I am not down on men, an no not all men are like that, but I can say in the 25 plus years I have worked in a male dominated field, I have seen that game more times than not.
