Just like homosexuality is the opposite of heterosexuality, what is the opposite of bisexuality? Is it possible for someone to not like either men or women sexually? Or am I the only one? Please tell me I'm not the only one!!!!!

Whoever said I'm weird doesn't know all the facts. And just because everybody else has sex, doesn't mean I have to. Why should I "recover", as someone said, when I have nothing to recover from?

Maybe I should elaborate further. I like both women and men in a friendly way, but not sexually. I know it may be difficult for some of you to understand, but it's my decision, not yours. You don't have to like it. I know I have heterosexual tendencies, because I appreciate a good-looking guy when I see one. But I really can't picture myself having sex with either a man or woman. The whole thought of sex totally eludes me. I'm sure it's possible to have a totally meaningful relationship with someone and not have sex.

I'm definitely NOT celibate! Celibate people are one of the 3 main types (hetero, homo or bi), but have chosen not to have sex either because of their own personal reasons or because they took a vow of some kind. They still want to have sex, but they don't. Asexual people (if that's really the proper term) have absolutely no interest in having sex at all, with anybody.

I would say to be true to yourself, and don't let anyone try to push you into what they think you should be. If you have questions about who or what your sexual identity is perhaps you could speak to a counselor, but if you are happy with yourself then just be happy.

Well the answer that says asexual is correct. That specifically means NO sexual or without sex but this is not a term used for humans but flowers and a very small group of lizards(yeah they have a sexual type of play but no penetration but are unable to reproduce without it.)My guess is you just don't like people which would make you a sociopath or an agoraphobe.

It's called asexuality. This is present in some plants and animals, meaning they need only one sex to produce. Snails are an example.
I don't know if it really occurs in people, of course, because sexuality is something that appears in shades of gray, not in black and white.

There is no opposite.

Let's create a fake number line, where negative numbers are more straight, and positive numbers are more gay. Zero would be someone who is totally bisexual.

The opposite of a negative 10 would be a positive 10, but there is no opposite of that zero.

The celibate are those who do not engage in any kind of sexual activity, though they still feel the attraction. Sexual attraction is natural, except perhaps in eunuchs.
