As a conservative and a republican, I do tend to vote along party lines. That is because I am a citizen.
I support whoever is in the Oval Office, even though I may not agree with a certain President's politics or polices, because I am an American.
I find it interesting social commentary when 40% of those eligible to vote opt out during the electoral process, yet 100% have an ax to grind, and consider themselves to be some kind of enlightened political pundit, after the fact.
The perceived break down of our political process lies not with candidates, incumbents, political stance or inoperative voting machines. It is apathy, pure and simple, that allows "business us usual" to go unchecked in Washington, DC.
So, demand change. It is your constitutional right. But you're going to have to back off watching the Maury show, get your butt out of the house and participate, or make use of an absentee ballot, the latter of which can be filled out during General Hospital.
So what's the difference between a non-participant and a puppy? After six months a puppy quits whining.

So, you work for a company that makes money. Perish the thought! You mean the actually provided people with employment and a weekly paycheck? You mean those paychecks went to buy groceries, goods and services, thereby providing others with gainful employment, too! HOW HORRID! I bet the had to get rid of you because your brilliance intimidated them.
I guess you think you shouldn't have had to work and that the government should have bypassed your work and sent the check straight to you while you sat on your a** and did nothing.
I now understand why you would back the democrats.

Yeah. . .just like 99.999% of all politicians. . . Dubya is a self serving piece of crap! However. . . at least he is MAN enough to go to war! My number one concern is squashing the radicals in the middle east. If we don't do it now. . . we will have hell to pay later! Yeah. . . I know Dubya is all but blowing the big businesses. . . but at least he's fighting to make sure I'm not speaking ARABIC in 20 years! In reality . . .what we need to do is eliminate about 70% of the gene pool in this country. . . and you people know who you are. . . the rap culture. .. white trash hillbillies, queers, pro wrestling fans, yanni, all of hollywood, drug addicts, anybody with no last name, people who watch reality tv, and anybody named kennedy with a drinking problem.
