Just about every solid can turn into a liquid and then a gas if you apply enough heat.

I was thinking first of carbon dioxide, which goes from dry ice to a liquid to a gas, but it can go directly between those stages solid/gas (sublimation).
Mercury is another example - freeze it into a solid or vaporize it
