Washington DC... District of Columbia - it is located on the border of Virginia and Maryland states (that is the East coast). Washington state is on the West Coast.

He does hold residency in Texas because that is his personal property owned by him... the white house isn't his.

I'm from Washington State, and I find that offensive. No, he lives in Washington D.C., it's a city on the other side of the country. If you're looking at a map, you'll find it on the Right hand side of the country, about halfway down, right next to Maryland. There's two Washingtons. The state is very pretty, the city is very mean.
