i am in a high school band and i am a flag girl and some of the girls keep making up dances that look the same. I am tired of those same moves and plus they look ghetto. what can i do to change that with out starting a fight with them.

Why not have a round-robin discussion where everyone puts in ideas and you form a new routine with something from everyone?
Everyone contributes! It's fun and no one has hurt feelings!

Maybe you could put in some of your own creative ideas, talk to the girls who keep on making the routines and politely tell them that some of the dances are looking the same. As long as you tell them and suggest your ideas and not yell at them or boss them around to change this or that you should have no problem.

well you could try suggesting some moves/dances that you think would look better...

maybe the other girls would appreciate a change as well.. :)

you don't need to say negative things about their moves, just bring it up lightly and ask for suggestions from the other girls as well...

you are after all a "band" so it should be a team effort :)

Tell them for the next dance you would like to help make up the moves. Or try telling them calmly. Don't be mean about it but be friendly.
