The people that confess to crimes they did not commit are doing it for the attention. Then they realize how serious the matter is...

John Carr confessed to the killing in a ploy to get out of Thailand.
Under Thai laws he would face the death sentence or Life imprisonment in a Thai Prison for his crimes of child pornography.

Take note of John Carrs facial expression since the announcement of his innocence in the death of JonBenet.
Today he looks like a man who knows that he is doomed.
He does not have the same smug bewildered look that he held on the day of his arrest or during his transfer back to the U.S.

Looks like the hunt for the real killer is back on. I do not think we will ever know who murdered JonBenet.

He was in deep doo-doo in Thailand for some really crappy stuff he was doing. Looking at time in their jail, so sure, why not confess to killing a kid over in the US where he'd get a comfy life in prison, lifetime health & dental care, all the books & tv he wants, computer access, someone taking care of every want and need.'

He's a crazy pedophile. He was obsessed with her and Polly Klass so I think he just wanted desperately to be close to her and the case.

In short, he is psychotic and delusional. I don't know if he really believes that he was the one who killed JonBenet or if he just wishes he was. Either way, he is sick, sick, SICK!!
