I always liked "I saw her standing there" because it's common, yet not easy to play.
I like the tastiness of the bass in "for all we know".
Any bass playing with a pick is cool because of the click.

"Amber" by 311 has one of the collest bass riffs. "Champagne" by 311 has a good riff too. Oh yeah, the riff from "Nice to Know You" and "A Crow Left of the Murder" by Incubus is sweet too. I can't recommend any metal songs, but those are ones I remember.
