That would be a violation of the Constitution, the government subsidizing a church. Sorry. If you are smart, you will not try to invite the gov. to get involved, they would immediately tell you what to do and how to do it.

This is America, if you can't get members to pay for windows, then sell the church.

Churches don't pay taxes, so it would be hard to get a tax credit for energy saving devices. If it were my church, I wouldn't want the governments money anyway. Strings are always attached. At any rate, how much faith in God do you have when you go crying to the government for every little thing?
