This question will never be answered truly. Because have you ever talked to a dead person and asked them how is it to die or how does it feel? This is why religion and faith is very important, it gives us reasonable answers even if its not the most realistic.

I honestly think that we reincarnate as a different person, but we just don't know that we've had a previous life.
I am actually writing a script/story (i hope to film this as a series to put up on youtube) about a kid that offs himself because he wants to see if he will become reincarnated. He does, and his new life realizes that they had a previous life. So the kid goes around acting how he would in his previous life. I cant really explain it right, but, I'm sure you know what I mean.

Basically it's what you believe what will happen. Well if you are buried, then your body will last for years, I have heard of bodies lasting for ten years if not longer, if properly embalmed. If they just threw you in the ground, you would last for a few hours before the bugs started on you. Chances are there is nothing, you die and that's it, you don't remember birth or before you were born, so...you die, your dead, end of story.

You won't know when you're dead... it will be a bright light caused by your brain shutting down and then you'll be gone. As far as the after life deal that depends on your religious beliefs...

I believe you will be met on "the other side" by relatives who have crossed over before you. You will live there as long as you choose and then if you choose, come back to this world as a human being again.
It is peaceful and beautiful on the other side. Do not ever be afraid to die.

Depends on what you believe. I believe you will not be reincarnated into an animal.

Depends on your religion if you have one. Nobody really can scientificly tell you. Because the only people that know are dead.
