Pluto has recently been demoted by the members of the International Astronomical Union to a "Dwarf Planet." This was brought on by the concept that if Pluto was to remain designated as a full-fledged planet, at least two other celestial bodies in the solar system of comparable size to Pluto must also be included under the category of a planet. They include the largest planet-like asteroid, Ceres in the asteroid belt, and an unnamed body with a mass 30% bigger than that of Pluto beyond its orbit. A planet defined by the greeks as a merely a "wanderer of the cosmos," though the IAU has a much more strict definition.
