WHAT WAS YOUR REACTION AND DO YOU STILL HAVE IT??

Seeing that you posted this under Christmas, I'll go with the best Christmas gift and it was a pair of leather gloves from my brother when I was just a kid. True, there have been better gifts over the years, but, at the time, a pair of leather gloves were like a Mercedes to me. Of course they wore out long ago.
The worst gift was underwear intended for someone else. I had given her a Christmas gift and really didn't expect anything in return, but I believe she felt guilty and gave me a couple of pairs of underwear, intended for her husband. They were the wrong size and a style I never wore and I can't even remember what happened to them.
By the way, great question; give yourself 10 points. :-)

This is a great question, because the gift I got covers BOTH categories! LOL I was 10 and my mom got me this killer pair of white roller skates with yellow wheels that I'd been wanting for forever! I was so happy when I opened up the box and saw them...hence the best gift EVER! Then I tried them on, and they were like a whole size and a half TOO SMALL!...hence the worst gift EVER! The bummer was, they were non-returnable. So I had these bitchen skates that I couldn't use. I'll never forget it.

Worst gift was the printer my husband gave me on Valentine's Day. The Best gift was the diamond earrings he gave me right after I graciously accepted the printer. Great gag.

My husband waits until the last minute and then tries to get something super expensive to try to make up for his delay but one day he bought this $16 BEST WIFE charm. I LOVED IT!

yes, I still have it.

Worst, was his parents gift. Our first year together, they got me fake pearls which I assume they bought at a Dollar Store. They know I enjoy good jewelery and they meant it as an insult. 23 years later, I am still married to their son. The pearls..I stuck them back in their suitcase, I am still laughing at that! Nope, they still don't like me..hahahahahahahahaha

My first born was the greatest gift I ever received. I can still imagine holding her and how she was warm and how she smelled. She is 22 now, but I don't think I will ever forget that.

Worst: a Precious Moments wedding cake where you wound up the big-eyed kids on top & it played music. Super corny yuck. I left it with my ex, as his sister gave it to 'us'. Even after I said how I hate stupid tacky wedding invitations that had little kids in tuxes & wedding dresses when we were going over examples once! I still said 'thanks" and tried not to look disgusted. Maybe it was a sign?

Best: My Mom gave me a subscription to a horse-lovers book of the month club when I was a kid. I still own & treasure all those books! I was excited every month & she knew it, so I guess that was thanks enough from a kid.
