By doing so you can make life much more pleasant for yourself and others you are in contact with.
Allow yourself a little time alone (your "space") to contemplate
on the past 24 hours and criticize yourself. Be honest with yourself in your assessment.
Take a good look at every situation and conversation you
encountered and decide how you will handle them or something
similar during the next 24 hours.
1. Are there any situations where I could have used a softer tone of voice?
2. Did I overact?
3. Was I too quick to judge or draw conclusions before the fact?
4. Did I listen or did I just listen?
5. How well did I utilize my time?
6. Did I set and accomplish any daily goals?
7. If I feel like it was a wasted day what am I going to do to change that during the next 24 hours?
8. Is there anything at all I should have handled differently?
9. Did I offend or hurt anyone?
Set aside a few minutes daily and take a small inventory.
We all have room for improvement. It's a big part of growing.

A day is a small increment of a lifetime. It is how those days are strung together that produce results, either positive or negative, that is to be analyzed.
It is in the end that we will have a reputation deemed as good or bad. This reputation is the only thing we will ever truly own, so one should take steps to keep it above reproach. Day to day analysis may be a means to that end, but standing alone, a day means little, and signifies less.

Do you mean analyze, or is there an element of humor at work in your malapropism?
Anyway, I will admit, I analyze my day relentlessly. This is easy for me at home because both my wife & I are social workers so analyzing others' days is a big part of our own day we are each analyzing together...

Yes, I have a star rating system that I put in my calender in my purse. A really great day gets four stars. Most Mondays get one star.

No. Unless I feel as though I might have did or said something that might have been hurtful to another person. Then I tell myself, "they'll get over it" and sleep in content.
