im in 8th grade and i was wondering if it would be nerdy to bring ur bookbag with u on the first day of school.all were gonna get are probably a few papers,so its not like we need to bring our bookbags.plz help!thanks!

It's not nerdy...it's called being prepared. I know your nervous and all so, I'll make this conversation short. Bring any item that I list, that you have:
bookbag or
purse or
backpack
At least a binder with a folder, notebook, and a few pieces of papers
Also, a pen/pencil
Your phone, just in case
wallet just in case. That's all you'll need.
You won't get your books 'till after or during the week of the first day of school. Don't sweat it and stay cool!!

Trust me, ever other kid at your school is gonna have one. It may be on the verge of being nerdy though, but it's not practical to not bring anything to carry all your sh!t in. Luckily, really large handbags are in style. You can fit everything in one of those bags you could fit in a backpack.. I would suggest bringing a large bag, not necessarily a backpack, but some sort of large, unconventional bag to put your stuff. Get something stylish but unique.
