Go to a place that you can have fun, eat decent food, and not have to spend alot of money. A great place is somewhere that has some form of entertainment while you eat (ie. japanese sushi bar, open kitchen restaurant, indian restaurant w/belly dancers) so that you can whisper sweet nothings in each others ears and they'll be thinking you're talking about the entertainment. Later make your own entertainment in bed.

If you have one in your area, go to a classy FONDUE restaurant. They're usually nice, quiet places, and the food is amazing. Often served in several courses, the meal consists of different foods (breads, fruits, veggies, and meats) dipped in a glorious cheese sauce. The food usually served in bite-sized portions, and you use a small fondue fork to enjoy your meal. It's a lot of fun, and the length of time needed to finish the meal provides ample time for conversation. Dessert is often a tray full of dessert goodies, like cheese cake bites, strawberries, macaroons, and the like, dipped in either a chocolate or caramel sauce. Fun!

The current Wine Spectator magazine has an excellent dining guide with wines and gives out just about every state in the US. I live overseas, and have a couple in my "to do" list the next time I visit the US.

Well, if you are in Los Angeles, California area there are multiple places to choose from, but I highly recommend Mastro's Steakhouse In Beverly Hills. This place has the best steak in LA and also great atmosphere....

ok THE BEST place to eat is place called Biaggio Rstorante its italian food! food is just delicios! youl love it if your in toronto... its on king and jarvice...
