Why are people so mean to each other? Why are people so greedy? I am so sick of American mentality. It makes me so embarassed to be an American. Why can't people just live within their means?

I'm not sure who the Jones's really are however, I agree it's embarassing to think that this country has degenerated into a who can out do, out buy, posess more than the other competition, it's destroyed the spirit of community this nation once posessed. Everyone is too busy looking out for their own interests to care about what's happening around them, I still love this country and in the past we've overcome a great many obstacles when we've pulled togethor and I think that time will come again, then people will remember what's really important, each other.

You know what embarasses me? When people put down their OWN country. Do you realize that people read what you say and take it to heart? Thats why there is such a bad image of Americans out now.......and thank you very much, I'm American by birth and southern by the grace of God and I know nobody of how you described.

thats like saying the chinese are horrible just becouse one chinese guy did something wrong

Everything single thing it doesnt care for its tourist or its visitors and even its own citizens never mind being born thier all they look at is your skin colour!

why don't you worrie about you and you want have to worrie about anyone else... and you want have that problem... you cant change it so don't fret over it... less stress that way....
