Because no matter what you're never on the same side of the fence as they are. Even if you agreed with them they'd have something to say about that.
*People who lie don't have an opinion they have the last person they were with before you their opinion*
They never feel the same way about an answer. Today its OK to eat in their car tomorrow its not. Today they want you tomorrow they don't. If they say you can't go with them to the movies & you say OK. before they actually leave you they'd probably turn around & say nahhh why don't you come I want you to. Doesn't matter what the truth is they have to be at odds with you. When they get caught lying it's just more of a vicious cycle but with a whole new batch of lies.
You're constantly chasing words with liars. Their words always have several meanings.
Like the word 'yes' to them could mean:
maybe, could've, should've, almost, sort of, kind of, NO, never, will not,
etc,....
I don't believe they're capable of feeling embarrassed!!!!!

Coz the first Person they lie 2 is themselves, once caught out it's a mixture of shame/disappointment & anger from being caught.
Usually getting angry deflects from concentrating on the LIE 4 them it's there only course of action left.
I hate liars.

Because they know they just got "cold busted" and they feel like a trapped animal with no way out....
I personally cant stand liars, because many dont know the difference between the truth and a lie, the lies become the truth to them, and that's a sad, sad situation at best....
Hope that helped....

It's easier to lie about lying then to get caught with the truth. Think about it, there are some people that will go to their graves with knowing that the deception they have proceeded to initiate for the last who knows how many years, was only the scam to themselves, in hopes that we will (who ever). will buy it, but their stupidity is they are the ones that have to live with that now, but not really knowing that we really know the truth. So instead of arguing with ourselves, it's much easier to let Carma take it's role. Good luck

Think about the reason that you lied, and you will have some idea to why people lie. When they get angry when caught, they probably don't realise they are really mad at themselves. Everyone will confess to hate when being lied to, so it is only in form to hate themselves, hence the anger and frustration.

bcuz you ruined all their fun. most likely it's a over reaction to being called out and their first instinct is to belittle you by yelling and getting mad at you. they know they're wrong, just don't want to admit it.

because they have to options: run or fight.
the get mad because they feel stupid and they feel like the only way to make it true is by acting angry at the person that caught them.
