appearance: wear formal clothes, like a blouse (white is best), a fleece jacket or sweater, and a plaid skirt or dress pants. wear mostly neurtral colors. no jeans or shirts with words on the front. 4 hair styles, braids, a single ponytail, or a bun will be good. 4 shoes, dress shoes, boots, or high heels (not the ones with sharp heels, though. just the small ones). 4 jewlery, anything in silver or gold and not in bright colors. 4 make-up, eyeshadow/liner and lipstick.
attitude: lots of manners, kind, formal, obeys rules and . . . wise and understanding.
basically, anything will do as long as it is formal, student-like, and not crazy-ish. everything should be a single color.
by the way, i recommend that u follow this only if u go 2 prepartory school. if u attend public, u shouldn't cause nobody else will and you'll be different, unless that's what u want.

well u dont wan to be preppy because ill tell ya somthin there was this one girl at my school everyone made fun of her so much because she was one of the stupid preppy girls and no one liked her but she thought that she as so popular and snoby like in the kind of $!&@ way and it was so annoying.
and one day just to show her how much we hated her my best friend new who she lked and on this girls last day my friend asked the boy out before her so she started crying but what can say she deserved it......
so if you dont want to end up like that girl (a.k.a mirrisa)then u do not want to be a preppy friek! because believe me its not kool. you can still act happy and funny without being preppy it works ot so much better after. :p

how you will be more preppy is that u have to wear collared shirts alot...that gives out a preppy vibe...n dont wear like nike sneakers...wear like all star(converse) or tennis shoes...i see ppl all the time with them n they look very preppy to me

yeah preppy people dress so boring try www.urbanoutfitters.com the stuff is girly/preppy they sell skinny jeans and flats and long neclaces stuff like that

uhm....no offense but be fake. i have a lot of preppy friends and the really preppy one is totally fake, fake tan, eyes (lashes and colorr contacs) hair (color) and fake teeth...as in they are not here but they do look good
and switch rooms with your parents
