Its a good book indeed. He has other fiction along the same lines, but I also recommend a book of manners he once wrote -- The Unexpurgated Code -- completely wacked, of course. A guide to social climbing - social satire.

HAHAHAHA constructive heres one for you we've been given instructed the different day - a guy joins a monastery and takes a vow of silence: he’s allowed to declare 2 words each and every seven years. After the 1st seven years, the elders carry him in and ask for his 2 words. “chilly flooring,” he says. They nod and deliver him away. Seven extra years pass. they carry him back in and ask for his 2 words. He clears his throats and says, “undesirable nutrition.” They nod and deliver him away. Seven extra years pass. they carry him in for his 2 words. “I provide up,” he says. “That’s no longer stunning,” the elders say. “You’ve carried out no longer something yet whinge for the reason which you acquire here.”
