Anyone know how to get an ISP number from a yahoo user, From this # Can I locate someone?

I met a young lady that I would like to verify that she is in Nigeria as she says.and not a scammer. Here yahoo profile gives nothing but her name although she said she was born in Va. All the research I have done comes back nothing, even with Cyber Track Software. So her name is not real? Or something is funny, Yes she is from a dating site and yes I have sent her money, Western Union.If you know how please answer as i have a tracker site that uses that number to find someone. All else has failed Thanks, Don

The only way you can really get her IP address is if she's sent you any emails. If you view the mail headers it'll give you the IP address the email was sent from which you can then plug into the "City From IP" search box on this site to find out roughly where she emailed you from:

Note: most webmail providers like Yahoo will hide the email headers by default simply because most people don't care about them, you'll need to dig around in the option to switch on the viewing of headers but it's definitely possible to do this.

By the way, if she is indeed in Nigeria then it's even more likely she's a scammer, Nigeria's a haven for that kind of thing these days.

First: Yes, you are being scammed. I repeat. Yes, you are being scammed.
Second, if you have an e-mail from her, you can trace it back to the point of origin with 3rd party software. Google for "e-mail tracing freeware" and take your pick. Run the trace. You'll see where "she" sent the e-mail from.
