hears how i do it i take off the first layer with my hands then i use a squirt bottle and spray the other layer keep it wet for a few then take a scrapper and scrap it off . their is no easy way but as a painter myself this is the fastest and cleaner then the steamer . i don't like using a steamer because u have to score it and that leaves little indention's all over the wall

I hate wallpaper. I bought a house that has it in every room. First find out how many layers of wall paper are up. One of my rooms had 5 layers and 2 borders. The DIF or other spray gels will work ok with the most 2 layers. Do not buy the cutting tools or any other products it is a waste of money. A putty knife will help to put behind the paper when pulling it off. I bought a steamer for $70 no labor involved with this method just steam a spot it falls of. I would like to warn you this is a very time consuming task. Once you do get the paper off you need to wipe down the walls to get off any residue of glue (important paint will not stick) and patch walls possibly a little sanding. I do this myself but it does take time. Good Luck Once its off your room will look great.

some places rent these really cool things that kinda steam off the paper or you can get hot water in a spray bottle and a putty knife and scrape it off that way, it kinda all depends on how long the paper has been on the wall, if it's been on there a long time then it should be really easy to peel off but if it's been recently then it might be harder. I'd try looking at a hardware store like Lowe's or Home Depot to see if they rent the steamers

Steam. Easiest and best way, especially when dealing with old wall paper. Most rental centers have wallpaper steamers and some hardware stores also rent them. Get a wide bladed plastic putty knife to help scrape it off without gouging the walls.

I used Dif, you can buy it at any home improvement store, and a scorerer and scraped away. You just spray it on, let it sit for a bit, then you can peel it right off, but for stubborn areas, you may need a scraper or paper tiger (to score the paper before you strip it). I will never wallpaper again. What a pain!

I hate wallpaper! You can ask anybody I know! And when you can't afford a team of guys to come in and do it for you.. the only solution is to buy the scribble kit at any hardware store or wal-mart .. it comes with the little thing that you scribble on the wallpaper.. then the bladed looking putty knife that you scrape the wallpaper off with.. but I use HOOOOOT water mixed with any household dish detergent.. it comes off quick!!!! Slides off like melted butter :D
A little soap goes along way.. put it in an old windex bottle and your good to go!

Keep it wet while you slowly peel it off. Spray bottle with warm water worked for me. Use a wet rag to get as much glue off as soon as possible after you pull the paper. Rinse the rag often.

Rent a steamer - hopefully it will peel off in large pieces, if not you will need to score it and spray it with a remover as well as steaming. But the heat & steam do the most good.

Call a quality painter with an experienced work crew & they will do it fast and painle$$ly when you're at work.
