I am trying to figure out if there is a certain term used for the set I am interested in getting?? My mother had this set but she cannot remember if it had a name. When you are engaged you wear the engagement ring by itself, but when you get married it is inserted into a wedding set-which when combined makes an elaborate setting.. Does anyone know where I can find this style at??

most all jewelery stores have both individual engagement rings that you'd put with something like a simple band and sets, you just have to let them know what you are looking for.
