It seems to me the church is against anything that looks good or feels good. Is it the devil's work or is it OK?

depending on which church u mean, its either ok or not

i believe in catholicism its considered bad, and the work of the devil

the funny thing is, what if they're wrong.. what if things that feel good can be okay, and you spend your life avoiding them, never to get the chance to feel them again.. arent you just cheating yourself?

When I was just a teenager (many, many years ago!) my best friend was Catholic and wanted me to join the church. When I found out I couldn't play with my weenie anymore I told him "I don't think so dude!" (or something like that!). My parents later made me go to an Evangelical Church where in Sunday School an up tight pastor tried to scare the fear of God into us boys who he just knew were having fun with our ding-a-lings. Then and now (over 50 years later!), jacking off was one of my favorite activities. I said goodbye to religion and never went back! Is God or Allah or whoever against masturbation? I really don't know, really don't care. I will put my basic moral character up against any of the bible thumpers but if I want to masturbate (and I do!) I am going to do it. It harms no one, least of all myself. There are substantial long term mental and physical benefits to it. If the Catholic Church would permit it's priests to at least masturbate, it probably wouldn't be in the moral and financial ruin it's in today. To answer your question, in my most humble opinion masturbation for boys and girls, men and women of any age is perfectly OK!

First of all you have to remember that the CHURCH IS NOT GOD

When ever someone says "THE CHURCH" it is almost always Catholic that they are referring to.

When was the last time THE CHURCH had you read from the Bible? Never... They don't want you to. They want you to do what they tell you to do and not let you read for yourself...

If God didn't want man or women to enjoy sex / masturbation then God would not have made it feel so good...

As far as THE CHURCH... who has been raping and sodomizing little boys???

a question similar was raised if God made hormones why is sex wrong. Sex is not wrong it is really good, in marriage. Masturbation is not wrong it is the thoughts on the opposite sex that are wrong, it can be attained apart from lustful thoughts. Jesus said that if you even look with lust you have committed adultery in your heart, or sex outside of marriage. God has designed marriage as a safeguard from disease, broken friendships, and kids without fathers, and also for people to have an exclusive special mate. I will say this the price of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus who paid for our sin if you turn from sin and receive Christ. Also God can give you power over sin to do the right thing. Just because something feels good doesnt make it right, think of a bankrobber it feels good to get the loot but it isnt rigth. And yes the main question is who is your master sex or God, but remember God gave sex but in marriage.

I don't think so. He really was only against eating from the forbidden tree.

Since Adam was Human I am sure he stroked the weinie until Eve was willing.

But then the churches alled it devils work probably so they can keep ppl in fear and under control.

Okay, if you want to say God allows for masturbation, then what does that mean??

Is doing daily still okay? What about 3 times a day? What if you can't stop and you're in this thing like some addiction -- is that okay too? If you need to see a shrink because this is getting out of control, is that okay too?

The Bible tells us to practice self-control. We are to discipline ourselves and master our own bodies. Don't let your bodies rule over you. It may be natural but as Christians we are rise about our base natures. So your answer to your question is: Who is the master of your life?

Did God issue the human a pair of hands and genitilia? I don't think there is nothing wrong with Spreading the Mayo, or Having a Tug-O-war with cyclops. Just as long as you Shake Hands with Ben Franklin out of moderation. Some say that it is healthy to have a disfuntional discharge.

God really doesn't care. You are satisfying a natural urge, and there is nothing wrong with that.
There's a passage in the Bible about a man named Onan that a lot of people misinterpret as condemnation of masturbation. It's not. God was angry with Onan, not because he masturbated, but because he didn't have relations with the woman that by Jewish law he was supposed to.

I sure hope God isnt against masturbation. If so i might as well reserve my corner in hell in the extreme smoking section next to the fire pit. But i refuse to go to hell unless i can take a toy with me..lol
